Brenda Grow, MA, AMFT

Brenda Grow is a bilingual marriage and family therapist based in Los Angeles, with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. She specializes in working with children, teens, and adults, with a particular focus on neurodiversity, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and PDA profiles. Brenda approaches therapy through a blend of psychodynamic, narrative, existential, and eclectic modalities, tailoring her methods to meet the unique needs of each client. Brenda’s passion for creating a safe, nonjudgmental space allows clients to explore their emotional world and facilitate meaningful change.

As an advocate for the Latinx/Hispanic community, Brenda's work is deeply rooted in cultural sensitivity and systemic understanding. Brenda is deeply passionate about supporting immigrant and first-generation teens and young adults navigating the academic system and all the complexities that come from being multicultural. Drawing from her own experiences as a first-generation Mexican-American, she helps her clients feel empowered as they develop skills and habits to thrive in both their personal and academic lives. Her early work as a camp counselor and translator for ESL students sparked a lifelong commitment to advocating for people who feel in between cultures.

A published photographer and artist, Brenda’s work has been showcased in venues such as the Morristown Museum, Domino Magazine, Two Hawks Quarterly, and the Fashion Institute of Technology Gallery. This creative background enriches her therapeutic approach, offering clients a space that embraces both emotional expression and healing.

To care for another individual means to know and to experience the other as fully as possible.
