Ofelia Saba Ramírez, AMFT, APCC

Ofelia Saba Ramírez is a psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles. With extensive training in psychodynamic therapy and a strong interest in feminist therapy, Ofelia brings a depth of relational and therapeutic expertise to her practice. As the co-founder and educational director of one of the nation's first transgender film festivals, she has dedicated her career to amplifying marginalized voices and promoting social justice. Ofelia has also provided critical support and advocacy for sex workers; she has served as an educational director at a prominent BDSM organization, where she facilitated workshops focused on safety, consent, creative play, and empowerment within the BDSM community.

Ofelia's therapeutic approach is deeply informed by her lived experience as a queer woman of color, allowing her to create inclusive and empowering spaces for clients from diverse backgrounds. She has a particular interest in working with individuals and couples navigating transgender issues, ethically non-monogamous and kinky relationships, and the broader LGBTQ+ community. With additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Ofelia is well-equipped to support clients in processing conflict, trauma, and achieving meaningful healing. Her commitment to social justice, combined with her clinical expertise and compassionate approach, offers clients a supportive and empathetic environment for their therapeutic journey.
